Learn about the State Library's professional learning resources available from O'Reilly.

Account Registration

O'Reilly requires a separate, individual account in addition to a State Library account.

If you haven't activated your State Library account, you must do that before registering for an O'Reilly account. Learn how to activate your State Library account.

Registering for the first time

Follow these steps if you're using O'Reilly for the first time.

  1. Go to the Library's link for O'Reilly
  2. If prompted, log in with your library username and password
  3. Click "Register for an individual account with O'Reilly" under New O'Reilly Users
  4. Then enter your first name, last name, and your work email address
  5. Click "Set Up My Account"
  6. Check your email for a “Welcome to O'Reilly” email that includes an activation code
  7. Follow the instructions in the email from O'Reilly to complete the activation process
The registration email may take a while to arrive, and it may be delivered to your junk email box.

The Library's O'Reilly registration page connects your O'Reilly account with the State Library’s subscription, so that you won't be charged a fee to use O'Reilly.
