This is a project-based grant program. Grant funds are to be used for projects that support at least one of the State Library’s Five-Year Plan priorities. Organizations are encouraged to envision projects that will meet an identified need or opportunity in the library’s community.
Applications open in the fall, and awards are issued in early spring. Projects run for one year (July 1 - June 30).

Each fiscal year, the State Library of Oregon dedicates LSTA funding to support ongoing statewide programs and projects. Those interested in applying should contact lsta.grants@slo.oregon.gov.
On occasion the State Library is able to offer other grant opportunities. These are advertised on this guide as well as on listservs for library staff throughout the state.
