Oregon Census 2020 Complete Count Committee Resources

The Oregon Complete Count Committee (OCCC) is the 2020 Census advisory body to Governor Kate Brown and the State of Oregon. The OCCC has the charge of recommending strategies that safeguard and promote the 2020 Census to ensure a fair and accurate count for Oregon.

Why is the 2020 Census Important to Oregon?

• Accurate Census data helps Oregon secure federal dollars for health, housing, education, and public safety services impacting all Oregonians. • Oregonians deserve democratic and equitable representation. Census data is used to draw congressional and state legislative districts. Oregon is likely to gain a 6th Congressional District if there is there is an accurate and complete count in 2020.
