State Library of Oregon Tribal Cultural Inventory

State Library collections are divided into three parts:

  • Oregon Documents Collection (publications of Oregon state agencies)
  • Federal Documents Collection (federal agency publications)
  • “Main” Collection (all other library materials).

The physical collections are housed in stacks at the State Library Building. Older, fragile or rare materials,  photographs and archival materials are stored in a Special Collections area with strict climate controls.

The State Library also keeps a digital library of Oregon, Federal and other publications in its Digital Collections. Currently, there are nearly 100,000 items online.

Most items in State Library of Oregon physical collections can be searched using the online catalog. The catalog also includes links to digital items, which can also be searched and accessed online in the State Library of Oregon Digital Collections.
