Aug 1 – Oct 31, 2022 Public Library Annual Statistical Report open for public libraries
Nov – Dec 2022 Finalizing 2021-2022 Public Library Statistics as submitted
2023
March – April 2023 State Library staff review Annual Statistical Report for compliance with administrative rules and libraries receive individual report regarding compliance
June 2023 Report to the State Library Board any libraries out of compliance
July 1, 2023 Start of 1st year for July 2023 libraries out of compliance.
Aug 1 – Oct 31, 2023 Public Library Annual Statistical Report open for public libraries
Nov – Dec 2023 Finalizing 2022-2023 Public Library Statistics as submitted
2024
March – April 2024 State Library staff review Annual Statistical Report for compliance with administrative rules and libraries receive individual report regarding compliance
June 2024 Report to the State Library Board any libraries out of compliance and any previously out of compliance libraries that have achieved compliance.
July 2024 Start of 2nd year for July 2023 libraries out of compliance; start of 1st year for 2024 libraries out of compliance
Aug 1 – Oct 31, 2024 Public Library Annual Statistical Report open for public libraries
Nov – Dec 2024 Finalizing 2023-2024 Public Library Statistics as submitted
2025
March – April 2025 State Library staff review Annual Statistical Report for compliance with administrative rules and libraries receive individual report regarding compliance
June 2025

Report to the State Library Board any libraries out of compliance and any previously out of compliance libraries that have achieved compliance. 

State Library Board votes on termination of official recognition for libraries out compliance since July 1, 2023.

July 2025 Start of 2nd year for July 2024 libraries out of compliance; start of 1st year for 2025 libraries out of compliance

Please note that until the State Library Board officially terminates official recognition, out of compliance public libraries are still eligible for all support and benefits (grants, statewide databases, etc.) from the State Library as an officially recognized public library.
