From the Idaho Commission for Libraries; resources include ABLE (Alternative Basic Library Education), LIBRARY LEARNING ONLINE covering various topics (formerly known as SABLE), and archived webinars.

These organizations provide training resources that have registration fees, etc., and can be an important part of staff development.

Amigos Library Services
Offerings include:
1. Upcoming schedule of online learning opportunities
2. Know and Go: a series of informative web sessions covering topics of current interest. Designed for group participation, these updates are presented online on Monday afternoons. The registration fee for non-members is $35 per session.
3. Online Conferences: multiple events throughout the year and archived recordings are available
Infopeople
In addition to free webinars and other resources, Infopeople provides online courses which typically span four weeks though there are a few two-week courses. A schedule of planned online courses for the upcoming year is also available.
LibraryWorks
LibraryWorks webinars assist administrators and managers in all types of libraries as they deal with day-to-day and strategic challenges. Timely, topical and interactive, the webinars are conducted by highly regarded professionals in the field and focus on leadership, management, evaluation, assessment, marketing, funding, and more to promote organizational success.
Library Juice Academy
Library Juice Academy offers a range of online professional development workshops for librarians and other library staff, focusing on practical topics to build new skills. Costs for online courses range from $175 - $250 per course.

Oregon staff can save on classes and events offered by LYRASIS. When registering, use these steps:
