Our goals for the online training are to:

• introduce the topic;
• review considerations before searching for data and statistics;
• demonstrate places to search:
  • library databases,
  • government agencies,
  • organizations, and
  • international government or organizations; and
• discuss questions or comments.

Terminology Review

• Data = raw information
• Statistics = interpretation of the information
